In Latur District, Udgir has already left an indelible mark on the education horizon of Maharashtra and continues to do so in the last many years. The noteworthy contributions to the educational legacy of Udgir are late Dr. N.Y. Dole. Late Dr. D.L. Holikar sir and Tiwari sir, another noteworthy contributor to this legacy is Shri Bhagwansingh Bayas sir. Udgir also inherits rich cultural & historical background. Being the President of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Education Society, I am immensely privileged to run this only military school in Latur District.
I harbour the ambition of bringing underprivileged and deprived section of the society into the mainstream and working for their upliftment. The ambition is being fulfilled with the military institution set up in the wonderfully picturesque setting. We work in the direction of inculcating patriotism, moral values, leadership qualities and honesty in the students. We are continuously striving to enable the rural students to appear for the examinations like N.D.A., U.P.S.C., M.P.S.C. Besides we try to boost confidence of the students to make an intelligent, studious, civilized person out of them.
I am fortunate to have immensely efficient and dedicated bunch of men as teachers who have been painstakingly working to fulfill our aims and objectives. I hope that the students of this school after completing education will serve our Nation.
